Founding Trustee
Dr. Nagalakshmi Nagarajan is an engineer and Bharatanatyam expert who developed innovative teaching methods while raising her own children. Her approach to education is rooted in the belief that every child is unique and that learning should be guided by curiosity, creativity, discipline, and joy. Her background in classical dance, education, and creative learning has helped shape Champaka Academy® into a space where academics, arts, culture, and expression come together naturally.

Sri Nagarajan Srinivasan is an entrepreneur and former corporate executive who brought vision, structure, and strategic direction to Champaka Academy®. His focus has been on creating a strong foundation for quality education in a safe, organised, and nurturing environment. Together, their vision helped build Champaka Academy® with the belief that early childhood education should prepare children not only for school, but also for life.
Champaka Academy® follows a Montessori-inspired curriculum that blends hands-on academics with creative arts, cultural learning, and practical life experiences.
Children participate in activities such as storytelling, art, yoga, Bharatanatyam, classical music, outdoor play, role play, and concept-based learning. These experiences help them develop cognitive, social, emotional, physical, and creative skills in a balanced way.
